Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is getting a big redesign as we’ve heard previously, and now leaked renders are showing just how different it will be.
CAD-based renders published by SammyGuru and @OnLeaks show off the design of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, lining up with evidence previously spotted in leaked Samsung firmware.
The images show Samsung’s new smartwatch ditching a fully circular design for one that has a circular display, but a squarish body similar to last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra. The dimensions are said to measure 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm.
Different from the Ultra, though, is the return of Samsung’s rotating bezel. While it’s not shown directly, the notches heavily imply that the feature is coming back on this model. But one of the main new features of Galaxy Watch Ultra, the third button, is also still present here.
There are still a lot of questions around the Galaxy Watch 8 series, but we’re certainly starting to get a clearer picture.
Samsung is expected to launch its new smartwatch series in July alongside updated foldables.
