The Nothing Phone (3) may not have the chipset many were expecting, but it’s still shaping up to be an enticing new device. In the latest leak, we’re getting a better idea around the battery and charging situation, with Nothing Phone (3) set to beat both Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy flagships in both metrics.
According to regulatory filings spotted by The Tech Outlook, Nothing Phone (3) will have a 5,150 mAh battery and wired charging rates around 65W.
That matches up with previous teasers, where it was said that Phone (3) would have the biggest battery of the series. But what makes this notable is that Nothing is beating some of the biggest names in the industry.
Google’s Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5,000 mAh battery, as does Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. As far as flagships go, Nothing is beating both, and even edging out Google’s Pixel 9a which shipped with the company’s largest battery to date at 5,100 mAh. The charging figure also well surpasses
Of course, Nothing isn’t breaking new ground here. Many other brands have far surpassed these figures. The OnePlus 13, for example, has a 6,000 mAh battery. But, still, it’s nice to see that Nothing is stepping up to offer an improvement on what some of the biggest names have been lagging behind on.
Nothing Phone (3) launches on July 1.
