Another alleged Nothing Phone (3) design leaks, but this one is probably real [Gallery]

Following a prior leak that turned out to be false, a newer leak of the Nothing Phone (3) design has surfaced and, perhaps unfortunately, this one is very likely to be legitimate.

Nothing has always thought outside of the box when it comes to product design, and that’s very clear in this latest leak of Phone (3). The folks over at Android Headlines have obtained images of what is likely to be the real Phone (3) design.

We can say that with a level of confidence because the images align with all of Nothing’s teasers thus far, including this morning’s telephoto camera tease. Other aspects that line up include “this button,” the location of the model number, and other close-ups that Nothing has shared. Another teaser that doesn’t show up in this leak uses the word “tuned,” so that close-up is probably from the Headphone (1).

The design as a whole is… polarizing, to say the least.

The cameras aren’t locked down to any specific portion of the device and the new “Glyph Matrix” display floats on its own up in the top corner. It’s a unique design, with nothing else looking quite like it. But after backlash to the design of Phone (3a) Pro which, at least in my opinion looks tame by comparison, it’ll be interesting to see how folks react to this one.

The images show the device in an off-white color as well as a black color. A profile view of the device also shows that the main cameras jut out quite a bit from the back of the device.

We’ll have to wait and see if this one turns out to be real – the last one didn’t – but we don’t have long to wait. Nothing’s launch event takes place on July 1.

I don't like that the glyphs were removed for this smaller grid display, if the grid were bigger it would feel like an equal exchange. I am just relieved they didn't go for that enormous camera bump like the 3a pro, i found it hideous and looked like they swept up left over oppo parts from the factory floor.

9to5Google’s Take

Personally, I’ve been a fan of Nothing’s design aesthetic for a while. Each design has a unique look, but I’m at a loss for words on this one. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro’s look was polarizing and bold, but eventually grew on me. I’m hoping to see the same on this one, but the scattershot placement of the hardware elements on this device just leave me staggered.

What do you think?
